There are some 3rd party apps which allows to add custom tiles ("Custom Quick Settings" being one of them), some others apps already support this feature for their own usage. To use it under S7 nougat, fully expand quick settings area then, open the three dot menu and press "edit". The "Nougat way" of editing quick settings buttons (actually replacing system UI tuner, which has been phased out) tiles doesn't' require root at all. I'm particularly looking for notification power controls as there seems to be no way to disable heads up without also making them silent.
